Producer’s Letter January 2011

Finally we get a Producer’s Letter – James Nichols is now writing it instead of Carrie Gouskos.

I’d really like to know where Myffic get their feedback from to make all these decisions.
Faffing about with Scenarios is not going to bring the subs back and neither are Live Events, more pets, name changes or Sweeny Todd options.
No word of how they feel 1.4 was received or whether they believe it was a successful major update.

“We have plans for major features for each of our numbered patches this year. The plans include expanding existing areas and features as well as new concepts to the Warhammer Online experience. With each subsequent producer letter I plan to share more of these plans.”
Now this is more like it but we need detail now not drip fed over the year.

Andy promised us “some great news for the EU Community” – we’re getting our own EU Community Manager. Hopefully Myffic have finally realised where their core subs are and where the future of WAR lies and are going to stop pandering to the US market.

I suppose we should be thankful for any bit of info but after all this time this letter amounts to not a great deal.
